Simple Transition | Long Tan Cardigan & Chanel Cap Toe Block Heels Dupe

Hope everyone is staying safe during this COVID-19 quarantine. Though we do not go outside much these days, an easy outfit to throw together comes in handy when we do.

A quick outfit combining basic tee, jeans, and cardigan, with Chanel cap toe pumps dupe.

For my slight petite frame, I like medium length cardigans (similar here | here | here | here | here). I bought mine 2 sizes larger for an oversized coat-like look. The simple straight lines make this type of cardigans dressier than a typical one. They are great for office wear as well. They are a transitioning staple piece in my wardrobe — I own three colors of the same one! I could not find the exact one but from my shopping/collecting they come back every winter at H&M.

Light colored jeans (mine comes with a raw hem!) add a fresh touch to a neutral outfit. I got mine at Forever21; this pair has pretty nice quality at a great price. I’m kinda kicking myself for not getting a backup of them but there are many similar options, similar here | here | here (in white with step hem).

I had been eyeing the Chanel cap toe slingback pumps for sometime when I saw these in Zara. The color combo is reminiscent of Chanel shoes, but the toes are more pointy. I got them, thinking this would be a great way to try out before getting the Chanel pair. This color combo goes with so many outfits! (similar here | here). Interestingly, when I finally went to the store to try out the Chanel pumps, I did not love them. The toe area is very narrow but going up a size would make their slingback slip off easily. Another uncomfortable factor is a gap between my feet and the shoe arch. The fit just was not right . I still like them, but from afar and on others for now :).

Some closeup jewelry and makeup shots. I was definitely feeling moon and stars that day.
