I’ve been loving a little bit of animal prints lately for some fall transitioning. Typically I prefer accent pieces. For times when I do not want a full-on animal pattern, I find subtle animal printed items work well. For example, this faux silk dress.
It was quite hard to capture the print on camera. However, in person you can see clearly the leopard pattern. The silky fabric has some sheen to it.
The dress is quite flowy, which goes well with the A line cut.
It looks more formal from the front with the mock neck and long sleeves. There is a moderate V cut and ties in the back (read. party in the back :). You can tie them into a bow, or just looped them once or left them untied like I did both here.
I paired this soft dress with a pair of wide ankle strap heels and chunky rectangular earrings, as I find these types of dress could look quite girly on me sometimes. I found similar pairs of shoes here, here, and here. The first two are on sale! I like the stretchy strap in the first option and the more comfortable chunky heels in the second and third option.
Speaking of earrings, I absolutely love these 14k gold plated earrings. They are substantial and the gold plating have not faded given the many times I have used them! I got them from a shop on Etsy and wish that this shop were still open. I found these here and here if you want a similar look.
I went for a nudy orange tone with glowy highlighted skin for my makeup. My highlighter is from Girlactik here in the shade “Natural”.
See you in another post. Here is a ‘blooper’ 🙂
