Black Friday Shopping List & Sales Details

When I first came to the States, I always got excited for Black Friday, the other BF ūüôā . Over the years, I gradually turned into an online shopper. I have found that the promotions online and in-store are very similar. Occasionally, the online ones are even better! I love being all cozied up in my super soft¬†PJs, wrapped in blankets with the heater on instead of being outside in the cold and fighting traffic and crowds. If something doesn’t work out, most stores accept returns unless they are stated as final sales. I also take advantage of Cyber Monday. I would wait until Monday to shop if I don’t find an absolute ‘must’ to purchase on Black Friday. I make a list by adding the items I want to my cart before hand. Below are the places I will be checking out, written in order of sales end date.

If no code is listed, it means I check my emails the night before and go straight to the website on Black Friday for deals.

  • J. Crew: 40% off everything. Until 11/26.

J. Crew made an update to the Cocoon coat this year and I am loving the new look. J. Crew Factory has a very similar City coat at $114 right now (more details down below). I have also been contemplating this bag ever since it came out early this year.

  • J. Crew Factory:

I purchased the Vail Parka coat last year in this vibrant red (size 0P) during Black Friday and loved it. Please excuse my hair here. It was w.i.n.d.y.

It keeps your neck warm, convenient with a hood, and is totally worth it at just under $130 when on sale! For this season, J. Crew Factory brought it back with three amazing colors. The rich tawny olive color is very tempting.

As mentioned earlier, the factory City coat is a great alternative to the original Cocoon coat in the J. Crew regular line. This year there are 7 colors to choose from! I am debating between tawny jade and heather saddle.

I also want to mention my two all time favorite items from J.Crew Factory: Schoolboy Blazer (mine is 00 Navy) and Pencil Skirt in Double-Serge Wool (all colors!). I was a little hesitant when I first bought them, but they have proven to be a staple in my wardrobe.

  • Madewell: 25% off everything with code DONTSTRESS. Until 11/26.

I look for these high-rise jeans every year. They are sold out quickly.

  • Asos: 20% off with code WIN20. Valid 11/23 – 11/28.

When I saw this dress, all I thought about was the holiday party season.

  • Uniqlo:

A friend told me about this¬†Fluffy Yarn Fleece jacket and I’ve been obsessed with it ever since. At $30, this is the softest, warmest, most durable thing money can buy. I wear it both by itself and layered under a coat. I got it last year on sale for $20 in two colors and I am planning to buy some more this year. There is also a men’s version in case you want to get one for that special someone.¬†If there were anything I would highly suggest checking out, this would be it.

Since I love the fleece jacket so much, I’m planning on getting the Fluffy Yarn Fleece coat (right picture). It is a longer, more loose-fitting version of the jacket. As I am writing this post, it is already on sale for $30. I wouldn’t wait until Black Friday for this.

I am also eyeing this fitted soft turtleneck sweater.

  • Zara: every year Zara runs some type of Black Friday sales where most items are discounted 10-30%. However, it is often not revealed until the day before. These items are currently in my cart: Oversized¬†Coat, Sock-style Ankle Boots, Leather Crossbody Bag.

  • Shein: so many deals (BOGO, 60% off, $10-$30 off for $79-$200).

I feel like the sales are changing everyday at this point. I’m loving these. They are cute and affordable ($9 – $25). I have shopped at Shein before and found most items are pretty decent quality. The return process is free in case you have things that don’t work out. From left to right, top to bottom: floral sleeve dress,¬†gingham bell sleeved dress, chiffon red dress, velvet drop shoulder top, camel print hoodie,¬†white hoodie

  • Anastasia Beverly Hills: 50% eyeshadow singles, contour, blush trios. 40% glow kit, liquid lipstick, lipgloss. 30% darkside liner, matte lipstick. Free brush with $75+ purchase. Valid 11/24 – 11/27.

I am surprised how much Anastasia products I own. But when I really think about it, I buy their products often because they deliver results beautifully and are user-friendly. My picks for this sale are the eyeshadows, glow kits, liquid lipsticks, and lipglosses. Some of my favorites are:

Matte eyeshadows: Orange Soda, Sienna, Dusty Rose, Warm Taupe, Red Earth (here).
Shimmer eyeshadows: Metal, Henna, Truffle Glitter (here).
Glowkits: Sun Dipped, Sugar, Moonchild (here).
Liquid Lipsticks: I love them all. Current favorites are Ashton and Crush (here).
Lipgloss: again I love them all. Vintage is currently in my purse (here).

  • Colorpop:¬†Some of my favorites from this super affordable LA makeup brand are the pressed face powder duo, Ultra Satin Lip, and Super Shock Eyeshadow (especially love the Ultra metallic ones).
  • Ofra:¬†40% off sitewide with code¬†DEAL40. Valid 11/24 – 11/27.

I love their Long Lasting Liquid Lipsticks and highly recommend them! They are not drying, come in beautiful colors, and smell great. My favorite colors are Pasadena, Mocha, Americano, and Miami Fever. St. Tropez is the perfect Barbie color.

  • Pistache’ Skincare: 40% off sitewide.¬†Valid 11/24 – 11/27.

I have heard so many great things about this Pistachio Body Butter and am planning to pick it up during the sale.

Comment below what you pick out from the sales. I’d love to know! I hope you have a great Thanksgiving.
