Black olive colorblock dress | Ankle booties

Do you have those days when you wake up late and just want to grab something quickly and still look presentable? This happens to me quite often especially in cold weather. To combat this, I often shop for dresses that are clean cut, do not require ironing, easy to throw on, and already have a style to them.

Dress:   Boohoo (similar here | here | here)
Shoes:   Primark (similar here | here | here, blush and grey here)
Watch:   Michael Kors Skylar (found it for 40% here)
Jewelry:   Banana Republic Spike (similar here | here | no bling here)
Hat:   H&M (similar here)

I put together this outfit super quickly last Sunday. It was gloomy and sprinkling but in the high 60s. With a nude layering shirt and shortie under, this t-shirt dress from Boohoo was enough without an extra jacket. Boohoo has tons of other easy wear options such as this and this. I particularly like this olive green piece here.

To keep my feet from the rain, I opted for a pair of faux leather high ankle booties. I got these from Primark on a trip to Boston. Primark is an Irish affordable fast fashion chain I first encountered when living in the UK. Since then, they have open stores in the US, only in some states on the East Coast at the moment. But there are so many cute options out there:

.   Missguided has some affordable ones (after 40% off code BABEDOLLAR)- similar here but I am actually loving this pair more!
.   Halogen has a lower heel suede version with pretty blush and grey tones.
.   Dolce Vita has a pointed toe version in both black and camel.

It is easier for me to walk in these block heels and dressier than rain boots.

Here are my Michael Kors Skylar watch in silver with rose gold dial (I got this last year and it is sold out everywhere at this point but luckily I found one trusted place here for 40% off!) and Banana Republic spikes bangle (BR delicate version, also loving this). H&M has a simple no-bling crisscross version here.

I put on a felt hat from H&M (Boohoo has a very affordable one!) on my way out the door.
