After Labor day, I feel like summer is over for many. However, it’s still pretty warm where I am. Everyone in my life (and online it seems!) loves Fall. I gotta admit, I am more of a Spring-Summer kinda girl than a Fall-Winter one. I wonder if it is because the heat reminds me of home. Where I am originally from — south of Vietnam, it is hot year round.
Due to the pandemic, many physical offices are still closed including mine. However, for the very few times where I have to come in, this is one of my go-to choices. In a way, co-ords or matching two piece set take out the guess work of ‘ what to wear with this top or bottom.’
Outside of work and occasions, I am a fan of casual, easy-to-wear styles — as seen by my many posts of casual outfits (example, here | here | here) on my blog and also by quick snaps of OOTD on my Instagram. However, I used to not be the biggest fan of distressed T-shirts.
Recently, I saw a T-shirt in one of my most favorite colors, pastel purple, or lavender/lilac on Forever 21. The color alone almost sold me. Because you are reading this post, this obviously means I went ahead and bought it. Besides the color, the price point was good enough to warrant a low risk purchase. Plus it would be a fun challenge to see if I can incorporate it into my wardrobe.
I have been into tweeds for the past couple years — my dream is to own a couple of Chanel tweed jackets one day! I admit it is a bit hard to find the right tweed items for me. I often find them looking slightly mature on me at times.
